bring me sunshine.

The colors aren't the only thing that pop in this video:

A little bit of happy goes a long way.

**Shout out to Uncle Fergie for the find!

happy early birthday

to me!

I'm a conversation heart lover. I eat too many too fast then go back for more. A couple years ago, Necco up and changed their recipe and my heart and palette was saddened. Necco conversation hearts were the best.

Imagine my surprise and excitement when THE JOE sent me this article today. As he points out, "In with the old, out with the new!"

Yes, Necco is bringing their old recipe back and I am overjoyed. Is it February yet?

an inner martha?

Who knew I had an inner Martha Stewart just waiting to burst and show off? Perhaps that's a bit dramatic, but as a person whose least favorite place to be is the kitchen, I created a new specialty.

Acorn kisses!

And I daresay I'm addicted:
Tedious? A tad, but so worth it.

All you need is:
• Hershey Kisses
• Mini Nilla wafers
• Vanilla frosting
• Mini chocolate chips (white chocolate, semi-sweet or butterscotch)

Feel free to get creative. I added a little Kerri-twist: using Hugs and Kisses. Then I tossed them in the freezer because I believe chocolate is better frozen.

rack it up.

Leave it to Peg to find the perfect solution on how to not only keep your scarves in order, but display them so it's an easy choice each morning:

Ta dum! Scarf brilliance.

a job well done.

The man who created my favorite products in the world (and perhaps one of my favorite companies) has passed away.

Rest in peace, Steve Jobs, and may Apple continue to stand high above all the rest.

"That's been one of my mantras - focus and simplicity.
Simple can be harder than complex:
You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.
But it's worth it in the end because once you get there,
you can move mountains."

hot to trot.

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, you haven’t. And may this be a friendly reminder: you'll never see it all (and that's a good thing). Not with the creative minds we have roaming around the Earth these days.

Now that autumn’s chill has arrived (and I’m loving every single chilly second of it), it’s about that time to start thinking about those toe covers again. What? You don’t call them toe covers? Perhaps you refer to them as socks.

It is socks season and what better way to keep your toes warm?

Feet, meet ultra-heat…in the form of heated socks.

Not only will they keep your feet warm and dry, they’ll keep them warm and dry for twelve full hours!

At $24.95 a pair, what’s not to love? Throw your feet the heater and your toes will thank you.
