I Love Sports...

...and Justin Timberlake.

Do you hear me,
I'm talking to you
Across the water across the deep blue ocean
Under the open sky, oh my, baby I'm trying
Boy I hear you in my dreams
I feel your whisper across the sea
I keep you with me in my heart
You make it easier when life gets hard
- "Lucky"

Newlywed, we all jumped for joy at the official Klears. My heart hasn't been happier in a long time. The weather held out for a reason. It was just a dream and I wasn't even the one getting married. Seeing as I suffered from perma-grin the entire time we were down there, I have no idea how I am eventually going to be able to get married. I can barely handle my friends'!

DPU pic was a must.

And here's to the best years yet to come for Mr. and Mrs. Klear! CHEERS!

Completely Useless.

I am a Mac lover

...but what I do not love about these computers are the Mail and Calendar applications. Mac Mail and iCal should be synced into one application. I knew this before. However, iCal really sealed the deal with us not getting along today...when I noticed that you can an alarm for 15 minutes after a scheduled appointment. After? Isn't that a bit late?

I would understand it if there was an option to set two reminders - a "before" and an "after," but there is not.

In what instance could you possibly want to know about something that happened...15 minutes later? Maybe as a follow-up? But how can you follow up if you forgot to do it in the first place because you didn't have an option for "before" also?

I am confused.

The Only Reason I Watch The Blackhawks

Is because of the music.

I love the ditty they play whenever the Hawks score. It's the only reason I watch the games. Scratch that. I watch for two reasons: the first being the aforementioned ditty and the second is to watch my roommate watch them.

Now that's what I call good entertainment.

I Embrace Awkward.

And you should too.

Then you should go thank your parents that none of your family photos looked like these. Or if they did, submit them immediately.

On with the awkwardness! You are not alone.

Seeing As It IS Tuesday...

It seems fair to start thinking about the weekend.

Well, maybe that would be a bit premature, but what we can discuss is the actual word 'weekend'. It is called weekEND for a reason.

The week is ending.

Albeit, it is an assumption to say that it is the "work" week ending, but let's call it what it is - the work week ending.

This brings me to my next point. I would like to talk to someone about instituting three day weekends - every week. And ensuring that no one, and I repeat no one, has to work on weekENDS.

I will begin this process today. After I call and switch my utilities to my new apartment - that's important too.

Afterall, they don't call them weekstarts, do they?

My Peggy

My mom is my world.

And two days later, I'm still thanking her for being the mom she is and showing me the way.

Also, I love that this is "claaaaaaaaaaasic peg." I know my own version of Classic Peg and love her even more.

Did You Know...

...cuz I bet you didn't.

The Underrated Drinking Utensil:

The straw.

Yes, I'm using again...straws, that is. They make drinking water enjoyable and are so underappreciated...much like when "Arrested Development" was actually aired on FOX.

Safety First.

As I was putting my laptop in my bag to go to work this morning, I was thinking that I really should get some sort of protective sleeve to protect my precious Mac. I've seen some really ugly sleeves and I wanted something different and (fine, I'll admit it) cute.

a website where you can design and
order your very own protective sleeve!
Or if you aren't feeling the creative vibe, check out what others have ordered and be on your merry way.

Either way, your laptop will thank you for the extra protection.

It's The Little Things...

That bring a smile to my face.

Every day, my youngest brother teaches me something new. This morning, the lesson was "there is a difference between being sick and not feeling well." Whether he'll feel this way tomorrow, we never know, but at the time, you don't question his statements.

It is for this fact:
I am grateful.

My middle brother teaches me things too. Just not daily. And most are inappropriate and should not be shared publicly, unless you've met him.

It is for this fact:
I am still grateful.

Best Bulls since MJ.

This franchise will never be the same without #23.

But they sure were fun to watch, despite the stupid Celtics.

Not bad for a team that finished below .500!

MAY I Interest You In An Interesting Fact?

Somehow, Bananas is one year old. It was a year of learning and stumbling through proper blog phrasing, but we did it! I think readership just might be over 10 people, but at least I'm having fun. And I hope you are too! Thanks for going bananas with me

And although birthdays are exciting, Goofy got it right with HAPPY EVERYTHING!

From you...

Oh, Chaaaaaaaaalie.

Grow up, Charlie.

No Justice...

for the stupid.

In an attempt to get out of jury duty, one man uses brutal honesty (and an unnecessary description of his dog) to prove his point.

I think he should have used Liz Lemon's "I am a hologram." Might have won him more brownie points than his note.
