The Art Of An E-mail Signature
If you're like me, sometimes you struggle with how to sign off on your work e-mails.
"Take care" sounds like you'll never see the person again.
"Thanks" is about as generic and insincere as you can get.
"Sincerely" is used by grandparents.
The fact is: they are necessary so we keep using.
One signature that is not necessary in a work setting? "Yours faithfully." I don't know you. I probably will never know you and even if I did know you, I will not be faithfully yours so let's just call it what it is: unacceptable.
**Personal e-mails are a whole different story. Sign away however you darn well please. Friends don't judge friends based on signatures - or do they?
